RE: List of Chinese Engines

What I was trying to get across was the point that the market being flooded with these engines has coincided with the release of a ton of 25% aerobatic airframes intended for 26cc gas engines. I...

New DLE30 stalling

I just installed a new DLE 30 in my Pilot RC 26% Extra. It starts and runs very well for the most part. However, out of about 10 flights, it has deadsticked on at least half of them. Everything...

RE: List of Chinese Engines

It seems the focus of this thread has centered on the 26cc class of engines. I use this size engine because the 25% airframes work for me right now as far as cost and transportation are concerned. My...

Kudos to Pilot RC

Let me start by saying that I have no affiliation with Pilot RC, I'm just a pilot who purchased one of their models and wants to give credit where credit is due.
I recently purchased...

I was enjoying my first flight with my new to me 73" QQ Yak and a brand new DX7 with a 7000 receiver, (my first ever flight with 2.4).
About three minutes in, I had no elevator and the plane went...

Is a smartfly type system a good idea for a 50cc bird?

I am getting a 50cc Extra 260 and I was wondering if I should use a Smartfly system. I was looking at the sport plus and 2 7.4v batteries.

belt cp v2 main gear stripping

My main gear continues to strip within 10 minutes of flight every time I replace it. Is there a better one available or can anyone think of a reason it might keep stripping?

RE: MLD-28 gasoline engine

On that note, I have owned an MLD 28 for well over a month and it is collecting dust in my basement, along with the 25% yak that I bought to put it on. It only ran for about 30 minutes...

I used to fly at BCMA but I moved to Columbus Ohio. I miss the city, but flying is big here. I also don't miss flying over that river!

RE: Fliton Extra 330S tracking issues

That also sounds like a large two stroke for that plane maybe? If you have it slanted 45 deg to the right, I would think it would shift the lateral balance to the right, even without the added...

RE: Fliton Extra 330S tracking issues

I'd recheck that lateral balance. It sounds like your right wing is dropping and/or pulling it to the right because of that weight you added.
