hey, you may want to try a combatwings XE2. they fly great and are aquick build. one thing i really like is that it doesnt have a canopy(that can break) it has an internal battery slot and a exelent...

i am working on the plug for a flying wing that i am making. i am going to use .5 oz glass and some kevlar/carbon fiber cloth. i am going to make it a 48 inch wing span. what airfoil and stuff do...

well......did you reverse the wires on the speed controller?.....if not thats a problem
you should have the lettering facing the back of the plane...not the motor.

if all else fails sell it on...

what i did was put some fuel line around it....cut the plastic tube at the body then slide tubing over the ends.....its stiff but when you crash itll bend....i havent broke one since....6 months![8D]

i have a mbx pro and had many problems to.....but it is now a great buggy!! get a high-torque steering servo and some 20% byrons fuel. get some OS#8 glow plugs and ask ofna for some new clutch...

lol, yes it does, thats why i tried the roof thing.....just jump it.....dont cartwheel it off the roof onto cement.....stuff happens![8D]

the main thing for me was cost. the combat wings models are around 75-80$. the zagi are around 100-185$
the canopies are a weak point on the wings.in crashes and combat....the combat wings models...

you may want to look into a combat wings XE2. they are electric and very nice learners in case you are re-entering the sport. very forgiving materials....EPP foam. but DONT GET A ZAGI!![:'(]

sauerdean-i have a multiplex radio.....their newest the...Royal evo 9 i think it is. it is great and all set for wings.

i already have a xe2 and hope to go more...

well i set it up so i had some frinds to catch it when it flew off....and it was fine till it cartwheeled off the other side of my house....i couldnt see it very well then...:eek: it was cool...

yes.....but 300 dollars. holy crap.....you must think it costs a lot to make these things....it doesnt. i would say around 150. maybe 250 with a mamba brushless motor and working aluminum...

folding prop on wing

i have an xe2 and i am wondering if the folding props would help prevent broken props and stuff.....also for slope soaring and gliding.

red barron....the site is www.combatwings.com look at products and go to kits, then to XE2......very nice kit and very durable.....some words of advice are that even thought it takes extreme abuse...

how much weight does it add to the wing when you put on the minwax etc.?

would it help to glass the foam with a light weight glass then leave the front alone?
