I've experienced it with maxx 2.5 maxx and i have your same problem not knowing how to fix it. i've messed with the LSN and did the pinch test and my shuts off in around 3 seconds. And it still does...

It doesn't matter how long the tube is it matters where the air filter is mounted. a good place is right above the front bulkhead.

Okay i have a problem with my 2.5 maxx. When the enigne is shut off and i have the radio and receiver on; when i turn the steering servo with my radio something squeaks in my front steering setup....

I have a TRX 2.5 T-Maxx and a Savage 25. They are both equal for durability reasons and they both look real strong. But fun-factor wise I would go with the Savage 25.:)
