Sorry about that, I was thinking the 17/4w. I do not know of a 18/4w, but I am thinking that would be a good one for this plane. I will be trying the 17/6 Friday, will post the results.

I have the Saito 1.50 w/Perry pump on mine.
swinging 16/6, I just installed the Fiberlite extra tall
and will be swapping to the 18/4w just to see what its like.
Awsum combo.

How prone are the CF gear to breaking?

Attach the labels to cloths pins, and put them all on your sun-visor.

No, the legnth of the antenna wire is determined by the frequency range you are on.
If you change it, you alter the gross wavelegnth of the antenna. This will probably
give far less than ideal...
