The 12Fg has capability to use ailevator on the 617 Rx without further mixing; the 10c cannot, it can only use the 8 ch and above for this function. i hope the 10c integrated has updated this.

RE: Inverted Engine Siphoning Fuel

Look at the pictures closely, the backplate of the spinner is much higher than the cowl, thus its wrong mounting. Needs to be lowered.

An who says that you need a pump? I said you dont need a...

RE: Inverted Engine Siphoning Fuel

Firstly, inverting an engine is a bad idea. You can NEVER get the tank as low as possible for the centrelines of the tank and carb spraybar to be on the same level without hacking. Mounting the...

OS FS-200

A buddy's OS FS-200, with 18x8 Menz on 15%nitro Wildcat.

Ran rich on first and only tank. Turned 7900 (still running rich). Guestimate 8200-8500 when broken in. Muffler was very effective in...

RE: OS FS-30S Engine Losing Power

Another question.... When you had power back, was it on a new gallon of fuel or was it on the same fuel when you lost power?

RE: OS FS-30S Engine Losing Power

Hmmm leaves me to wonder, if you are hovering a lot, it is possible that you are leaning out; if you are not running a pump unit of any kind. There is the possibility that the ring is slowly wearing...

RE: Are NiMh really ok for digital servos???

Agreed, really is very handy. Wow, they really look alike, huh?

Its not the gospel truth but good reassurance. I prefer to cycle the batteries to make sure they are still ok.

RE: Are NiMh really ok for digital servos???

I concur on the intellect cells, I have the 1400 and the 2000. So far have used the 1400, I do my own soldering work and use dean connectors with 22awg for rx . These babes can easily be pushed to 30...

RE: How is it possible that 4C's are lighter than 2C's??

After looking at my comment a little bit, I believe I was pretty biased towards the 120 sized engines.

When ya want to compare the smaller ones in the 60 range, example such as (the exemption)...

RE: How is it possible that 4C's are lighter than 2C's??

Not sure about that, I had a OS 120 Surpass II-E w saito pump unit. It could manage 15x8.

My OS 120ax could swing a 16x8 prop no problemo. Its throttle IMHO is very linear too.

The all up...

Nail polish remover will not be a good substitute, it has other additives. I have used denatured alcohol and acetone. I prefer the latter, IMO it mixs more evenly especially if you are using faster...

RE: Prop size for OS 55AX

falcon...

If you are going to be using 5% nitro, you're better off with a 13x4 sports or 12x6.

I currently have a 13x4w running on 15%. Spool up is good, but not as great as a ys63. Its...

RE: .46 - 11X7? How will it perform?

I have been using APC & MA scimitar 11x7 on my ST51 for many years. Everyone was impressed with it. It flew trainers to aerobats. A buddy used a 12x6 on a 80" Piper cub and says its overpowered.
