RE: Newest Profile frakenstien

I've thought about doing that same thing. The EF Yak makes a good candidate cause the root rib is parallel to the center line of the fuse. You could do it with other wings with a wing tube but you...

RE: 67

It's creeping back to it's original shape. I guess I have to call OMP and see what they will do if anything.

RE: 67

This morning I tried a little gentle persuasion plus heat and its straight again. I'll let it sit a few hours and put the straight edge on it again to see if it holds.

67" Fusion Bowed Fuselage

I purchased a 67" Fusion last week and started inspecting the ARF before assembly and found the Fuselage to be bowed. I called OMP and wanted to return the kit but the person that answered the phone...

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70

Post # 1489 has some nice pics. I would opt to mount it the way he did. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=9358095

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70

The instructions tell you how to do it.

I built an electric version and tried standard servos all around and it made it way too tail heavy. I ended putting one elevator servo in the radio...

RE: Great Planes Reactor GP/EP 3D ARF .46-.70

I'm using a Rimfire 55, Phoenix-60, APC 16x8 and I am ordering some Rhino 3700 6S1P packs. I know my run times will be short but I think I'll enjoy the lighter battery. I maidened with a 4700 mah...

RE: First father-son project - Tower Trainer .60 Rebuild

I'm having fun watching your progress. I too have a son with Autism (Aspergers) who tends to have very focused interest. I've tried several times to drag him over to the 'dark side' of RC modeling...

RE: Senior Telemaster

Great Job! I like your modifications and personal touches. I converted my kit built Telemaster to electric using a Rimfire 42-60-480 on 6S lipo and have never had so much fun with it. I might have to...

RE: Save $20 on a 50$ order from Tower..

I can't get those codes to work for me. The codes they send me stop at $300. It's kinda stupid cause I could probably get the same amount off if I broke my order up into several smaller ones.

RE: Edge 540 67

I haven't flown mine much cause of engine problems but I haven't had any trouble with flutter. I replaced a lot of the hardware with Dubro so that might have something to do with it. The few times...

RE: Hobby Lobby Sr. Telemaster ARF

vmsguy,

Thanks. I was trying to copy Greg Covey's motor installation in a way that would allow me to easily use a different motor if this one doesn't provide enough power.

My speed control...

RE: Save $20 on a 50$ order from Tower..

RE: Save $20 on a 50$ order from Tower..

Ditto on the above. I've gotten some good deals from espritmodel.com lately and donalds-hobby.com. Donald's has limited stock but if you find something you want put it in your shopping cart and often...
