Here is a pic of my PT22 at Old Warden yesterday. I wish i had put the scale prop on but I was about to fly. The subject 22 was in the hanger behind us.

Not quite sure what or why you are on about level pass, I was not trying to do one for the camera, just thought it was a nice 'scale' photo.

Anyway we abolished straight pass in comps last year....

The jet guys use a white paint that is amazing at heat insulation, BVM sell it but at a price. Or just make sure you have an air gap.
