I am running an os f plug. I could try a new one. I believe its running rich because the model is very oily after a flight. Starting really easy, hasn’t done very much flying time at all this engine

I have this plane and love it to bits! Mine has been powered by a os 46ax until it died and now a 55ax. The 46ax is the better combination in my opinion.

My DLE 30 has the rear mounted carb. A side mounted carb would probably mean you would have cut the side of the cowl.

I first tried a standard pitts muffler from dle australia and for it to fit would have taken a fair bit of modification. I have used the one designed for the aeroworks cessna 195 and it fits...

J tec have a pitts muffler for a aeroworks cessna 195 that will work with the standard standoffs. Have a look at the custom muffler section on their website, as they have some photo's there of it.
