just look at 3:05... the way it picks up out of knife edge and shoots in the air, I would say it's PLENTY for the plane. The JC is actually 2oz lighter than the new rear carb DLE. hope this helps

It is a new dry carb. I had the same problem the first time. You can try to prime it with some fuel straight to the carb as you suggested. That will help the suction. And then...

Once question - the carb is turned so that the needles are tilted towards the prop... I don't think I can tune with it running ?

Any tuning advice on this engine? It's going pretty wel, but it's hesitating if i let it idle and than punch it to mid throttle. I'm thinking low end too rich but is there a good article on tuing...

that's IF you don't cut out the mountbox to let the carb sit inside the mountbox, correct? You can drop it back to where the original version was if you cut it open?

If the hub is going to be 30mm past the old version, that's going to create some problems for some of these planes that have been designed around the original version - isn't it?
