Amsoil guy did say one several accounts gas is the problem here. I think gas is way over rated, something we could do with...

Ralph Cunningham, if anyone knows who this guys is ?? :D Races two strokes and does run them rich on oil. They run cooler and have more power with the higher content according to Ralph.

I guess one question about this thread is the oil mix? Does the brochure have a typo? You are running at 100:1 the brochure has you running at 50:1 , big difference in oil ratios.

Isn't this a fuel thread? Shouldn't it at least be tucked away rather nicely over there where if some one is looking for Fuel stuff they can read it?

I had an F150 with close to 300,000 miles on it running Amsoil, so I'm not against it. Like you said there are manufacturers that recommend it. If I have been running an engine for two or three years...

I keep seeing this pointed out, Follow the builders/manufacturers tuning instructions. Now if I do this the first thing its going to tell me most of the time is to run 32:1 for break in and 40:1-50:1...
