RE: what would you do?

I'd drop a V10 truck engine in it, hook up some servo's etc, put your dog or whatever in it and you're good to go.

RE: maverick blackout?

That's partially down to the current exchange rate of course, but yeah.

RE: Maverick Blackout MT

I'm tempted to pre-order one, I quite fancy getting an MT to go with my Race Runner, I'm thinking either one of these, another MCD, or possibly an FTX Destroyer or FS King Kong (since the latter...

RE: Maverick Blackout MT

Yeah, it comes with dual 20kg steering servo's (and a 2.4Ghz radio system).

From what I gather it's a rebadged Redcat Rampage as I said, I'm not sure what version though...

The Maverick...

RE: Maverick Blackout MT

RE: Maverick Blackout MT

It seems this is what the Redcat Rampage will be known as in Europe, but it'll have a 30cc engine instead of 26cc.

I read the tyres are 25cm in diameter, which is a fair bit bigger than FG/MCD...

RE: My new MCD Baja 1000 (loads of Pix)

Damn, I I don't know how you could buy one in the winter not planning to use it 'til the summer! Surely the weather in Canada can't be too bad for a 4WD!

RE: Just got an MCD Race Runner

Is it people with tuned engines and exhausts who tend to destroy their diffs?

RE: Just got an MCD Race Runner

How much do they like jumps and stuff by the way? I used to have a FG MT-5 and I know they need a couple of upgrades for jumping really. I've read mixed reports about MCD's, though they seem to get...

RE: Just got an MCD Race Runner

Which diff is it that tends to go? I'd got the impression it was the centre diff, but I can only find LSD's for the front and rear diffs... It wouldn't be cheap if they both went!

I might get...

RE: Just got an MCD Race Runner

I noticed in the MCD catalogue that came with it that it says 100+km/h for the Race Runner, is that dependent on having the right engine and exhaust or just the gear ratio? It came with a 26cc Cy...

Just got an MCD Race Runner

Evo 3 Sport, any MCD owners got any advice/recommended upgrades?

I'm thinking of turning it into a MT in time.

RE: Whats the best basher truck money can buy?

I was going to suggest looking into a Kamitiro K3 Spyder if you could afford one, but I see you've bought something now! Pretty much all aluminium and 4WS as well as 4WD, they look an intersting...

RE: Smartechs new 4x4 truck/buggy

They seem to be (slightly) different specs though, the Smartech's 28cc and the Carson's 27cc it seems, for example... So will the Smartech definitely be 4WD? I suppose I might have been looking at...

RE: Too Cheap To Believe, Deal Or Not ???

Surely the Firehammer is a knock off of the Smartech Traveller if anything! Or a rebadged one to be precise, for the US market...

RE: Smartechs new 4x4 truck/buggy

When's it out in europe then? According to Hobbythek it's May/June... Though it seems like the Smartech one says it's shaft driven 2WD? Though the Carson one seems to be 4WD...

RE: what would £400~£700get me

Most Fg's, or a HPI Baja, or any of the clones... FG's and Baja's seem to be the most popular... It'd get you something decent, but not top of the range of course...

RE: FG 4x4 kit question

I take it the standard brakes would be twice as effective with a 4x4 kit since it'd stop all 4 wheels instead of just the rears?

RE: CA-01, Made in China!! Dirt cheap but reliable???!!!

2.35hp probably isn't bad considering how high it revs, sounds like it might have similar torque at least, plus it says it has a top speed of 80km/h! Which sounds slightly hard to beleive, though I...
