RE: no response...

Have you checked that the crystals in the Rx and Tx are seated properly? Do you have another set you could try?

RE: Exceed RC Eagle 50

Do you mean that the servos move with cyclic inputs but not if you just increase throttle? That would be odd indeed. Do you have DIP switch 8 set to UNLOCKED on the back of the Tx? You should see...

RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk

I counted them once and came up with 138.

RE: 22e Receiver Problem

IIRC, the MOSFET is rated for an insane amount of current - like 80 Amps - but only under ideal conditions of cooling and loading (like bursts for X amount of time followed by light loading). The...

RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk

dodgemcopter,

The battery stuff can be confusing, but it's not that tough to understand. For this size heli a three cell (11.1V) Lipo is what you want. Lipo batteries are made up of cells of...

RE: Walkera #4 Fixed Pitch Helicopter Forum

It could be a bad spot on your Tx pot (potentiometer). You can try cleaning it out with compressed air, alcohol, or tuner cleaner. You'll have to open the Tx to get to the pot.

RE: New 2.4G Walkera models out

Any idea what the difference between the "A" and "B" versions of the 4G1 and 4#3 is?

RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk

For those interested, the part number for the ball studs is LOSB1051. You can google that part number.

RE: Walkera 4 Fixed Pitch Helicopter Forum

The problem is that the Blade CP Tx does CCPM mixing. See if there are DIP switches under the batteries. If so, I believe the CCPM mixing can be disabled with certain switch settings.

RE: Dragon Fly 22e Reciever Throttle Control

Ah... the thread's OP was referring to the 22E. I don't have the #4 (well not the electronics, just the airframe). It could be a DIP switch issue. You could try to see if you get a solid red light...

RE: Dragon Fly 22e Reciever Throttle Control

Uh... this isn't a 22E, is it? What model is it?

It doesn't matter which way the crystals are inserted.

RE: Dragon Fly 22e Reciever Throttle Control

The throttle trim is the small slider next to the throttle (not the one below it, that's the rudder trim). The throttle trim should also be all the way down. The FLIGHT MODE switch should be in the...

RE: Exceed RC Eagle 50

You might want to put some blue Loctite on that screw along with the other metal to metal screws and the knurled nut on the bottom of the T-block.

RE: Exceed RC Eagle 50

I had to have the servo arms pointed slightly upwards (with the Tx sticks centered) to keep them from hitting different parts of the frame at full deflection. I don't know if it's the best solution,...

Did you check that the servo arms move to roughly parallel to the ground right after it initializes?

RE: Exceed RC Eagle 50

Check the crystals in the Tx and Rx. Pull them out, spread the pins a little bit and put them back in. Also make sure the antenna in your Tx is screwed in tight and the antenna on the Rx isn't...

RE: Warranties on Helicopters

Yep. I'd say that's normal. Far too many people take them out of the box and fire them up without knowing what they're doing. The result is usually a pile of busted helicopter parts that the buyer...
