RE: Yellow f-4

I checked out the evf and I like it, however I still think I am stuck on the dynamax or the stumax.

Noone has commented on the stumax yet. Anyone using one? The sound is the best of all IMO.

RE: Yellow f-4

The idea of using the original ducting is appealing. Not to mention $616 for the scorpion fan kit that he used. It would be more cost effective to go with the dynemax I followed the build on that f-4...

RE: Yellow f-4

I did notice that. How did you do the rivet detail? It looks like you also have flaps? I want to put flaps on mine but read that it blanks out the ele.

Yellow f-4

I recently aquired a yellow f-4 and am starting to plan it out. I am going with edf for power, specifically Tams TJ100 and the conversion kit.

I would like to scale it up as much as possible...

RE: Learjet .40 Build

I have the LJ flying very smooth now. I have added 35% expo and worked on the epa's and now it has a lot softer feel to it. I made one of the sweetest crosswind precision landings I have made with it...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 182 ARF

No prob. The ole "my wife said if I buy one more r/c engine she's gonna leave, I sure am gonna miss her" thing.....lol

If you use the 14, I would try to lighten the plane as much as possible....

RE: Top Flite Cessna 182 ARF

I think you will be a little underpowered with that motor. The base engine for the 14 is the .82. The smallest recommended 4-stroke is a .91. It may fly but would not have enough power to get out of...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 182 ARF

RE: Top Flite Cessna 182 ARF

I am thinking about using an opto switch that is used for a kill switch for gas engines. HK has a receiver controlled switch, but you have to do some fancy wiring with it according to the reviews.
