ok so i flew the raptor today. it was a little gusty but oh well.
its now set up with the gms .61 turning a 11x7 apc with a truturn alum spinner. the cg is at its forward most point 5 3/4in.

i finally got the gms .61 on there, had to buy a new motor mount though. its funny though motor mount included it was still cheaper than the O.S. version. it fits nice i'll get some...

I just stopped by the local hobby shop and bought a gms .61 for the raptor. the 46fx barely got it off the ground. it pulled ok once in the air but id rather have power to spare and use throttle...

i just got done doing my flaps. I bought the arf, my only problem is my cruddy solder job for the linkages. i need some practice. does anyone feel that the raptor seems heavy?
