What would be a good watt setup, and what would the max prop diamter for ground clearance. I will not be using retracts so as to keep the weight down. What else do you think...

That looks like the Nitro Planes kit, I have one and it looks the same. Mine had a SPE 26cc, but I was not impressed, it now has the DLE 30 but havnt had a chance to fly with it yet.

I found mine to be about the same as yours, about 32 degrees from factory, and with the sensor fully retarded 29 or 28 1/2 degrees.
I wont run again until installed on the plane and its ready to go...
