RE: Fuel Injected 2-Stroke?

The 71 series is still in use in the marine industry, don't know if they are still making them but a lot of them around. A few 53's here and there. 71's are popular to drive barge pumps and also as...

RE: Yellow Aircraft Sukhoi

My manuel makes no reference to the type of servo's. I called Yellow Aircraft and they said the CG should be 4 1/4 to 4 1/2 so I'm a little tailheavy. I'll have to move things around a bit. I'm...

RE: YAK vs. Sukhoi?

The Yaks have the wing and stab on line with engine thrust line. On the Sukhoi, the wing is below engine thrust and the stab is above engine thrust line. The Sukhoi is very similar to the Cap232.

RE: Yellow Aircraft Sukhoi

I have the same Fun-Key Sukhoi sold by Yellow Aircraft, 72.5" wingspan. The instructions have the CG at 4 1/4 to 4 1/2. The airplane balances at 5".
Was the recommended CG changed at some point ?...

RE: new extreme flight rc 88" yak too heavy??

MMOOSE - 1. It is my opinion.
2. Extreme Flight doesn't offer hundreds of different airframes.
3. You will never see a TOC 30% Yak come in at the manufacter's...

RE: new extreme flight rc 88" yak too heavy??

There are no better, or lighter airframes than those offered by Extreme Flight, period! If you want to be disapointed get a TOC Yak, now thats an overweight piece of crap!!

RE: YS CLUB

If you are going to use the spinner supplied with the LT, check the balance first. Mine was so badly out of balance I discarded it.

YS 170

I recently recieved a coupon for half off a YS engine and I have a couple of questions.

2) Will the 160 still be offered after the 170 comes out or...

RE: Aeroworks vs Aviation Models YAK54 / Da 50 vs 3W 55i questions

17 pounds my foot, you'll be lucky if the Aviaiton Models comes in at 19 pounds with the DA-50 and the lightest gear you can find !! QQ Yak is at least 2 pounds lighter and is better built. Aviation...

RE: AVOID THESE ARF's AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Extreme Flight 68" Yak, best ARF I have ever owned...period ! It's a shame they don't still make them, lost mine to switch failure. Aviation Models is the worst.

RE: YAK 54 TOC1

No thank you Super D, but thanks for the offer. I'm going to strap a 3W 70 to it and fly it until it explodes. Shouldn't take long !

My field is exactly 6' above sea level, DA-50 is well broken in and runs strong. I think you just don't want to admit that Aviation Models cheated you as well as everybody else with the 16 pound...

E85

The area I live in switched to E85 or 15% ethanol. How will this effect the fuel line, stopper, gaskets and o-rings, operation of my DA-50 ?
Also, is ethanol hydroscopic ?

Pica ARF's distributed by Cox

Has anyone purchased one of the Pica arf's being distributed by Cox. I saw a picture of the 1/5 scale Waco in yellow with red trim, looks good.

RE: YAK 54 TOC1

Please post your CG's. I noticed a few mentions of CG's ranging from 6 to 7 inches in the previous threads. Mine came out to 7 1/4. It's probably flyable but maybe a little touchy.
