question on spectrum dx6i

I'm shopping for medium priced radio for my king2 and CX450 and saw the dx6i. I'll be flying in the park and don't need anything too fancy. Will this radio do the job? thanks

RE: WILL SOMEONE EXAMINE MY LAMA V4

Hi, remove the fuselage and check the movement of the swashplate. If you move the right stick on the transmitter forward the swash should tilt down, backwards the swash should tilt back, to the left...

RE: ESC to battery connection???

Yep, I did that too. Didn't insulate one wire while I was soldering the other and naturally they found a way to touch. Nice spark. Luckily the lipo was ok.[X(]

RE: ESC to battery connection???

You are correct. Cut off the jst and solder deans on and add shrink sleeving. You will notice that most 3s lipos don't come with a connector for the battery and neither do some escs . Get extra...

Thanks for the replies. Storing them after the esc cuts them off is ok, isn't it? Unfortunately I can't adjust the charge rate on my charger. I tried two different balance chargers with the same...

RE: s thinking of using some of my King2
