Hay guys there is a .60X on Ebay that looks real nice.I'd bid but I already own one they are power houses! It comes with a perry carb and the original.2days left ,and bidding is up to about $56.

I got the same deal on the .52 magnum from Hobby people. It's a great engine (runs better than my Saito that cost me close to $300.00 ),plenty of power for the Giles 202. Good luck...

I think the guys that balanced there's that far back crashed there Giles. But that may have been for other reasons.Wind etc.I am only an intermediate pilot ,so I like to keep things...

I see you said your Cox Giles 202 didn't balance where Cox suggested. Where did you balance yours? I balanced mine where they said and it fly's OK but comes in a little hot. Thanks Rich

I fly mine with a .52 mag 4 stroke. I love it. I  heard some one had trouble with the horizontal stab breaking in flight,but I think they may have used a knife to cute off the covering...

Great idea about the flaps! I feel this plane is geared more for electric power. You will have a winning combo with the flaps and the motor.

Flew mine today. Put the TT.46 PRO all the way up front to save weight on the balance. Flew nice,but a little bouncy on landings.Front section of fuselage vibrates at high throttle.Not sure if thats...

I did the same as you,epoxied the tail on. I wonder if we Monocote the elevator gap if that would help prevent flutter?I like to fly fast also .
Mine has a TT PRO .46 Haven't flown it yet.

I think I may have run it to rich on the brake-in and it didn't get the varnish in the sleeve that it needs.I'll try some more run-in on the ground before I risk my Cox G-202. It's to nice of a plane...

I have the .52 RFS and did the break-in as per the manual. I now have a little over half gal of 10% nitro 20% all Castor fuel through it.
It starts right up but can't...

Thanks for the reply on balancing. I hear everyone having trouble with the tail. I think I'll epoxy mine on. I like to fly fast, high speed dives etc. don't thinks those nuts will hold for me.

I have the same set up as you (TT.46 Pro with Escapade) but haven't put it together yet. How did it balance out for you?
