I had problem like that after I rebuilt mine.  I found that A blade and balance rod on to were to tight and rod could not balance. I'm new also, but I found that it I try to take off real slow light...

I haven't did the adjustments yet and tried it our. May this afternoon, weather looks better today.  I do have the estented staft.  I have extra parts cause I bought a use Lama, and switch out parts....

Just a thought, could you have a problem with the voltage coming out of the 3 in 1.  Causing low voltage and power to the motors

Did you unplug and replug the motors from the 3-1.  I just got  mine rewired.  seems good. have to get props on to see. keep shell off. does your rear motor run?

I want to thank you Pete for the help. I was hoping you'd get back to me.  I was going to start trying to adjust the 3 in 1,  but decided to back off and ask questions before I dug myself a hole....
