RE: jerrys big boy by morris hobbies

Hi everyone. Just saw the thread was back and thought I'd see whatsup. Combat 20 I would just assemble and fly. The BB is great as is. I've had mine for years and even after several crashes it's good...

I'm looking for a site that sells stuff for small indoor planes like the DW Foamie Yak JR. 28" span. Maybe even a site that offers complete kits for indoor stuff that small. Please help.

RE: Just a little info please

Thanks alot. I didn't know the shaft was tapered. I'm guessing the sound I heard while in flight was the prop slipping, or more accurately, the spinner backing plate. Anyway, think I'll just replace...

Just a little info please

I was flying my Jerry's big boy Sunday and I noticed an odd sound. When I tried to start my YS 110 FZ for another flight, it wouldn't start. It kicked back and the prop came loose. I removed the...

RE: jerrys big boy by morris hobbies

Duh, this thread we're posting on. :) There was an ICE MAN that took up donations for US soldier to get him a Big Boy but I don't know if the guy ever got it. It all just seemed to go away. Morris...

RE: jerrys big boy by morris hobbies

I found this thread. It came before the friends thread. ICE 32 ICEMAN STARTED IT. He claims to have written the instuction manual for the Jerrys BB.

RE: What happened to the bigboy/spoiler thread??

A while back I came looking for the same thread. I had to go back about five or six pages to find it. Has anyone done that? I think that inactive threads keep going farther back as other threads are...

RE: ARF Foamie?

I agree with DW Foamies. I also have one the same size from Charger RC and it flys great. Don't let anyone tell you that they won't land slow. It's just not so. I can drag the tail of mine on the...

RE: Spoiler/Big Boy family and friends

He all. Love the pics of the field. Those trees are real balsa eaters for me. I've lost four planes in trees. All 120 size. I went to Kitty Hawk this past summer and we took some electrics to fly. We...

RE: jerrys big boy by morris hobbies

I may get one of the spoilers if they ever become available but that's the last plane and biggest I'll get. I'm kinda liking my smaller foam models. I have two with 38" wings, profiles, and one that...

home made stickers for foam planes

It seems I read here somewhere that you can purchase the sheets of paper used to make the "water slide off" type of stickers. If so where can you buy it? And is there a site where you can download...

RE: jerrys big boy by morris hobbies

Yeah guys it's good to be back. Just haven't been visiting the site lately. Actually, haven't been able to fly much due to the wind. It's been really bad here in central VA. Last time I flew my BB...

RE: jerrys big boy by morris hobbies

Good luck hearing form East RC. I got a email saying they would let me know when the planes arrived but that was months ago. Is there any news on the plane for Hummer? I gave about $50 to the cause.

RE: please help me find a plane

Do you have a transmitter? That will add a bunch to your start up costs. There are some really good ones out there now even computer trans. that aren't too expensive. Still, ask around the local...

RE: First plane?

Look I don't want to knock HobbyZone planes. They're probably fine. I'm familiar with the Typhoon. I've seen it flown alot. I wouldn't get it for your first 3D. Stick with the flat foam wing planes....

RE: Best Foam 3D Plane

I have two foam planes. One is the Charger RC yak with 38" wing. Using Eflite 400 outrunner and HS 55s. It flys better than any plane I own. It is stable and goes where it's pointed. I also have the...
