Allthough you should probably end the end 2 strakes just behind the first, like leading back on a 30 deg angle
Reason being, you do not want to generate any lift...

Nice build, you might wanna consider gunnel rails, but maybe a lil' to late for that now !
I can tell you from past experiances that spoons & loader grates do not work to well in 1/4 scale...

I had asked the sale boaters previously if it was possible to run GAS boats here. There answer was absolutly NO, as it is right next to the golf club and the sound of 1/2 dozen Zens...

We use a dog & bone type drive shaft, but it has R/Hand threads on both the motor & jet so they would not work to well in ur situation.
