Default Can't get HobbyKing 40A ESC to calibrate?

This is the ESC I have

http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store...dProduct=11430

I'm using a 3PK with FASST System. I have servo power but for some reason I can not get the motor to calibrate no matter what I try. I am getting power and it does calibrate, just incorrectly.

The manual says to turn the TX on and hold the trigger in maximum position. So I do that, then plug the ESC in and It'll make a chime noise. It's supposed to make 2 beeps then I'm supposed to go to minimum position. After the chime I get I go to neutral and nothing happens. It just sits there. So I'll move the trigger to a position (I've tried about every position) and then I'll get another set of chimes. Then it gets crazy. The thing will will rev real high and it might be reversed. It's puzzling. I had it once to where I could ALMOST turn the throttle trim all the way up and it stopped the motor at neutral but I knew that was wrong......

Any ideas?

remove the red BEC wire on the esc temporarily and use a rx pack. I think your radio is trying to bind and bec ain't helping, been there....

Did you try to reverse throttle chanel?

The receiver is bound because it lights up green and i am getting steering? I can try that later tonight though if i cant get it working. I brought it to work today in hopes of getting it calibrated and being able to run it on lunch break.

Should i be getting 2 beeps when it is calibrating or will it make chimes?

Yes i have tried the throttle in both directions.

Just messed with it again and got it working by messing with throttle trim afterward. It won't save the settings though? If I unplug it and then plug it back in nothing happens. I have to recalibrate.
