Servo deflection at start-up

Servo deflection at start-up
Hi guys.
Looking for advice here.... When I turn on the model, all servos deflect a bit, and stays there for a second or two before acquiring a signal from the RX. This has never bothered me before, but now I´m working on a model with retracts, where this is a huge problem, unless I´m willing to mount a new prop each time I turn on the radio. :-)
I´m using a Micro 12 powered by twin A123 unregulated packs. All firmware, in both TX module and RX, are newest edition (v2.63).
I seem to remember this issue being discussed a long time ago, and later updates should have solved this issue, but apparently this is not the case.
Is it only my gear that has this flaw, or is there a way around it if it´s common?

Mine do the same.
So much for Larry Jolly providing a new level of service, typical Weatronic, big promises then disappear.
Have you asked Weatronic direct? Jens/Stefan etc are very helpful.

Hi Harry.
No, I have not contacted Weatronic directly yet. I was hoping that someone might have an answer online.
I also asked on the german forum, and someone suggested that I might set a failsafe position for the servo. Right now my failsafe is set to "Hold" as is default setting, but until there is a signal transmitted from the RX it seems that this does not work.
The gear will be driven by a JetTronics valve, and that may not be quite as affected as a normal analogue servo.

Hi, my servos are completely still if i turn on the transmitter first, then on the rx. If i turn on the rx first it will give the servo a small movement, but not as much as it will retract gear either on a mechanical valve or an electronic one like the jettronic. However, if i need to quick bind it will give the servo a small movement just when it is bound to the tx modules again.

The deflection happens no matter which order I turn on the RX and TX. But the deflection is rather small, maybe 20% movement, so maybe it´s not enough to activate the retract valve.
