RE: Official Mini-T Thread
Does a ball diff in a mini-t stop it doing wheelies? does it actually strengthen the diff? That was the reason I was getting it or can you just get hardened gears? Is there any other diff upgrade parts from losi (shafts, gears ect.)?
Do you know of any specific chargers fitting those specs? Preferably around £20($40). I'm new to electric!
Thanks a lot, Paul

Study, I want to wheelie, its just I heard that it can stop you pulling wheelies when people have installed it when they have high hp motors. I want it to strengthen the diff for the future (GP1100 + K3)

Any one know of a good body that ist meant fo the mini t but will fit and give it a low profile look with plenty on down force. I hav adapted the stock body with a front spoiler which is keeping the nose down very well with the mamba. I basically used and old spoiler from another one of my cars and trimed it right down so it like a formula 1 front spoiler.
This car sticks to the road like glue, even on full throttle, but obviously looks a bit off key seeing as the spoiler i used was yellow and the body is silver. Study i know you experiment with bodies, so have you seen anything along these lines that i could use?
I deally want something that looks like the pikes peak (Honda i thnk)

This idea has sort of blown out the window. Because what i did if front mounted it easily gets knocked around and torn off. and sometime when you brake it will dig into the floor, so either a total new body design with this feature researched so it dont happen or weighting the front.
If you have any ideas please post, also if you have experience with reprogramming the mamba esc by usb, can you tell me whether changing the throttle curve or traction control will eliminate or improve this situation.

I've been debating for a while now whitch wheel/tire combo to go with. I want a wheel that looks really cool and a tire that lasts a long time. Could you help me with some of your insight?
P.S. Once you have glued the tires to the wheels, can you reuse the wheels once the tire is torn up? Or do you have to buy new ones every time you mess up your tires?
Thanks for your help.

depends what battery you use. i had one and run it with 2cell lipos. did about 20. The k3 is a better motor and cheaper i beleive. better off with that. i also had that but got rid when i bought the mamba. nothing touches this

RE: Official Mini-T Thread
hi i just got a mini-t and i was wanting to see what the best motor/battery combination there was for top speed and power. i dont really want brushless yet because i do not want to change all the other electronics. how does the fastest brushed motor compare to a brushless motor (mph). how many cells can the stock esc handle? just wondering what i can do to the "t" without making drastic changes. thanks

Does anyone know anything about the K4 motor from United RC? How does it compare with the K3? Or will it even fit in the Mini-T?
Thanks for your help

RE: Official Mini-T Thread
Hey guys I bought the K3 a while back. I havent had the chance of droping it in untill this morning. That's when i realized that the motor holes do not align with the motor plate??? I thought iT was a direct drop in. What do I need to make it fit? I bought a GPM motor heat sink plate, but looking at it it doesn't seem to align either.
Tks,
Bruno

Hey guys,
I was charging my 6-cell battery pack today with my Prophet Plus peak charger using a 12v source (charging on two amps). When it was done, I smelt a burning smell. I looked at it and it was completely fried. Why did this happen and how can I fix it?
Thanks

I have just bought some Losi Directional Rib front tires, LOSB1153, which way round should I mount them? Should the wedge ribs be on the inside or outside of the wheel?
Thanks
Thanks

I don't think that the charge current, whether it is 1 or 2 amps, is your problem here. Terminating the charge when the battery is charged is more the issue here. Determining when NiMh are charged is more of a problem than NiCads, but a good charger should easily cope

What would yoou recommend gearing the baja on, for a dirt track?
Is the ball diff a worthwhile investment? How does it change the handling? Where is the best place to buy one?
Too many questions
