Is there a way i can turn the Mini Quake into a truggy.
Ive had my mini quake for a while and i have wanted to turn it into a truggy. Is there a way I can do this? Oh and as you can see Im new to the forums. Thank you for your patience.

Well you would need a center diff and a lower cg for this truck to start to get close. Oh yeah and a wing I guess (don't know if it needs one to be a truggy or not though.

Well I don't now; Trinity calls it a Truggy but some people say it needs a center diff to be a Truggy... Doesn't matter to me I think it is cool anyway.

I'd say you need to lower it, widen it, put a wing on it, and a brushless powerplant to immitate the big blocks in the real truggies.

To qualify as a truggy, it must utilize a buggy style chassis. No matter what duratrax calls the mini-quake, it is a truggy since it's based on the vendetta buggy. So is the associated rc18t/mt (even though it wasn't offered in buggy trim when launched).

The Vendetta is based on the Quake, not the other way around. The true truggy is coming soon supposedly (In Europe right now as the LRP Shark Monster). No, you couldnt convert a Quake into it easily.

If you had a vendetta and put bigger tires on it then wouldnt that qualify. A truggy is a buggy chassis with monster truck tires. You already have monster truck tires on a monster truck chassis. You wouldnt gain anything. the Vendetta sits low to the ground so putting some big tires would be good for going over obsticles. Your truck already has the tires and the clearance. I dont think there is any way to convert it into a truggy.
