Default Inferno st steers like s*%# HELP

Got my daughter an inferno ST she picked out. Shaved some stop out of radios wheel got some more steering. My 1/8th MBX5 can turn around about the same area with the pivot cups cut out some. You can't use a standard servo & add arm length because they used some lame 4 wire crap on the ESC- REC COMBO-.We saw a couple associated RC18Bs run they were super quick and nimble and had seperate rec. ESC and what looked like you use an upgradable servo. They just had a little whistle to them & a stock rechargeable batt. Hers sounds like alot of gear mesh.I'm sure hopped up the inferno would mash on them but i was dissipointed when i compared the two on the carpet track. The kyosho's batt was 60 upgade @ LHS too"WHAT THE @#$%" got a integy for 18 coming from ebay. SO FAR NOT IMPRESSED DAD .................Anybody got a couple of suggestions we have a reciever for her JR PRO radio but i'm hoping to not sink alot $ right now just set up a MBX5 PROSPECT FOR HER TOO

The Inferno series has alot of gear noise, yes. The main problem you are experiencing is in the open center diff though. Try a ball diff in the center, and play around with diff amount's of thick grease in the front and rear diff for the handling you want.
