What kinda batteries u using?Lipo works best .Also they use 2mm and not 2.3mm pinions.I think there is a way to adapt the stock pinion to the 2mm motor shaft. The air power gh4700 is sweet in the detta

use a mamba esc and get the gh4700 motor.. gear it at 19/45 and you will be happy

the smaller motors need the 49t spur inorder to be geared properly..

The Rage Extreme NEEDS Lipo's to get any performance out if it! I run the 3&2 cells Lipos in my MLST and, is it insanely fast and, powerfull. I tried the stock batteries and, ones like it and, BOOOOOO!

Don't believe it?Ask someone at the LHS or track to just use/try thier 3cell lipo for a second in your ride and, you will prolly mess your pants in disbelief!

the mini lst weighs less than the detta.. that motor is too small to push th detta..

just look at this.. the stock gearing ratio of the detta is 7.12 : 1 (16/45),,, compared to the rc18t which is about 11:1 that is a huge huge difference.. and the best you can get those numbers to being good is about 10.33 : 1 (12/49) ,, that is still not good ,, i cooked literally cooked a mamba 800kv motor while it was geared at 12/49 ,,,,
but my gh4700 is just a blast.. with either a 6 cell nimh pack or a 2s lipo (2 cells) and i have it geared at 5.99 : 1 (19/45) .................

get the gh4700 stop screwing with those smaller motors.. they wont work well.

I have a Mamba 6800 powered Vendetta that proves otherwise. Though I did buy a GH4700 to put in a Vendetta ST as soon as I get one.

how is it geared and what are you doing with it.. i had a mamba 8000kv in mine and had it geared at 12/49 the detta weight and internal gearing cooked the lil motor.. the 6800 would be better and the 5400 would be best..
