i purchasethis truck last night.... i popped in the mambe8000 and must say this thing is quick...i hav a qustion though....when i go to accelerate full throttle there is a grinding noise, i believe coming from the rear diff..when i hold the car off the ground and give full throttle i get no grind... only seems to happen under a load...i give it 3/4 throttle no grind, full throttle i get the grind.....i also get it when i slow down quickly from a very high rate of speed.. besides for that the truck runs great...i had read on here about putting 3 shims in the front and rear diffs on the opposite side of the teeth...any other suggstions?

Yep add some shims , mine was fine with the BAJA motor I had in it , but when I went to the Mamba system I started to get the noise you are describing ....
Check your gear mesh too , it needs to be pretty tight with these high RPM motors ...
