ran with battery pack on a new truck once, battery pack got hot, now motor doesn't work. does that mean esc is bad?

take your motor wire out of the esc wires and touch them to thte battery wires and see if the motor still runs by itself. If so then your esc might need attn.

this same exact thing happened to me after i did donuts for 5 minuetes straight on concrete, the motors bad.
