A 2S would be fine on stock esc, be worried about the battery, not the esc. Vammy's or x-power's 1700's fit in the detta chassis nicely and are good price. They were made with dualsky cells.

Vampower and x-power sells the dualsky cells I was talking about. They were available in 1700 and may be available in 1500 or 1800's now.
Try to use a lvc so the battery don't get pulled down too low in voltage by running too long.

These may fit, have to check the sizes , when I got my 1700's they fit perfectly , but I don't see them anymore.

RE: New vendetta St Lipo ?
Well, I tried a 2S Apogee 1500 Lipo and it ran for a while. I was carefull of the heat, so I stopped after about 3 min. I set it in front of my fan to cool and later I plugged it in for another run and nothing happened. No light, no power anywhere. UH OH, thats not good!!
Tech Support as Duratrax said that that Esc cannot handle the lipos. I told him hundreds of people are doing it, he said Oh Well!
HEHEHEHE
I should just go BL!!!
Anyone have any ideas or know of any other Esc that will handle the Lipos?
Please Help!!!
