Default Mini t upgrades

I've asked before but would still like opinions from others. Please don't reply back saying search because opinions do change from time to time. I have a stock mini t with the team losi 7.2v 100 nimh battery. I'll get the losi oil filled shocks. Should I get the losi bearings or another brand? Which motor would some suggests to me? Should I get brushed or brushless motor? Which esc? What else should I look into? Everything (motor, electronics, battery) gets pretty hot when ran the way it is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It all depends if you want to go brushless or not. If your willing to spend the money, go brushless; it will save you money in the long run.
With brushless, the stock slipper willl not hold up to it. Get a dual disk slipper.
Losi bearings are fine and cheap.
Be preapared to change your tires if you go brushless
A ball diff is the way to go; your stock gear diff will not hold up to that kinda power.

B-p-p.com sells the most powerful bl motor, the mamba 8000.
As for brushed, the trinity micro-monster wild is powerful and also the orion baja.
Get an ELITE 1500 pack off cheapbatterypacks.com, they're the way to got.

No, you need to buy a different servo and a Radio system. I would not recommend BL if you are just starting out just get a better brushed motor and once your skills are built then go BL.

Try an orion baja motor with a good pack. You will be amazed! You can keep your current set up. Do get bearings and oil shocks.

I'm running my stock Mini T with 7.4v CSRC 1250mAh LiPo and Team Losi Insane 370 motor. The only other upgrade is GPM oil shocks. All the upgrades only cost me $60 and was pretty simple to install.

check out this vid jumping my Mini T....

I also have a BL Mini Baja with Mamba 25 and 8000kv BL Motor, also running the CSRC 7.4v 1250mAh LiPo. It's got so much speed, it's ALMOST too hard to control!

But a heck of a lot of fun!

Dynamite just came out with the C4 a 9200kv BL Motor! Quark has a pretty 22A BL ESC worth looking into. However, the Mamba 25 with castle link USB cable makes programming a snap!
