Default CLICK HERE if you own or know anything about the Rascal.

Ok,

I don't have long to figure this out, I'm buying a Rascal when I arrive in Florida Saturday but now I'm stuck at home with my 200lb RC collection deciding what few things to bring on the plane.

So here's what I need to know:

1.) What size phillips head screw drivers are used with the Rascal?

2.) What size nut drivers are used with the Rascal?

3.) What size hex drivers/wrenches are used with the Rascal?

4.) What's included in the ARTR? (I know that there are cheapy "L" wrenches and silly little plastic tools included, I plan on bringing my nicer Losi and Hudy tools).

5.) Other than ARO and such is there anything else important? Like threadlocker or CA glue?

6.) I have practically everything you name it I've got it, I'm trying to pack under 20lbs of important items, but my brain isn't working right now so I need your help, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

As I don't own a Rascal I will still try to help...

Just to make sure you know (if you didn't)... The Almost ready to run version of this car doesn't come with a 2 channel radio system or the 2 servos that are required.
With that being said I would bring some radio equipment.

Since it is already assembled you shouldn't need to many tools. Just bring a few screw drivers and wrenches that you think will fit (they can't weigh to much). I would bring blue thread lock to screw down loose screws. Don't forget your glow igniter and four way wrench. With a few simple items I don't see why you can't pack light. And if you need anything els when you are on this trip just go to the place that you bought the Rascal and see if they have what you need. Good luck.

I figured the ARTR came with a 4-way wrench, it doesn't!?

And what wheels do I have to buy to mount up Proline Sling Shots and Mohawks to it? Are 2.2 sized wheels and tires what's stock on the Rascal or do I need to buy a different smaller size? I want sand paddles DARNIT!

I also want to use a rechargeable RX pack, what kind do I use? 5-cell hump-pack?

I plan to get the 2ch Spektrum system with the Z590 and Z270 servos, they are standard size, do I need micro size servos or something?

Sorry, I've dealt with 1/8th scale truggies since forever, this mini stuff is still rather new to me.

Thank you Dokioto for spending some of your time to help someone you probably will never even meet, the world needs more people like you.[sm=thumbup.gif]

Standard 4-way wrench, small pilers and the Torx wrench that comes in the box and you will be able to do most work on the Rascal. A small flathead srewdriver for tuning the engine too.

I have a Rascal so if you need help with it feel free to post or PM me.

Edit: No it does not come with a 4-way wrench.

You can only use Schumacher stock rims on it since there is a unique wheel/hub design on the truck (read it in a review). But is you get another set of stock rims you can use whatever 2.2 buggy tires you want. It uses slandered size equipment so using the servos that come with the Spectrum system will be fine. And I don't know what you will need to get for a rechargeable RX pack. Stock, it uses four AAA.
Hope this helps you a little.

LOL He isn't talking about a power chair. He is talking about a 1/16 scale, 2wd, Nitro powered truck produced by Schumacher.

I don't really know... You can always see if they fit on the stock rims at the LHS though (if they sell them of course).
