What are some 1/16 scale buggies? i know about the half 8 but what are some others. im thinking about picking one up.

Are you looking for Electric or Nitro? For Electric there are the Kyosho Halo 8 series, the IRC Photom, and some cheap nockoff of the Kyosho called the NanoDragon. For Nitros there are the Kyosho Mini Inferono 09 series, IRC Vulcan, Sportwerks Chaos, Trinity Next, VTX series, and a lot more.

Opps, that slipped my mind about that one. But yeah it's just the Kyosho Mini Infero series, The Nano Dragon, Duratrax Vendetta, and the IRC Photon.

yea i was thinking about a Detta also but the half 8 is looking better to me

Tamiya makes a few of 1/16 buggies if I recall correctly.

The Vendetta is technically a 1/18th buggy, not a 1/16.

Having owned a photon I'd avoid one if I were you...there are several design weak points that are difficult to overcome (including the flexible motor-mount).

alright thanks my only problem is that it seems hard to find parts for some of the 1/16 so im still looking. but the half 8 (or nano) is the one ill probly get but i HATE the the saddle battery packs.

conti. i'm selling a 1/16 mini-t buggy. i stretched it 5cms over stock and the chassis is made of carbon graphite and aluminum. there are some pictures here......i use the same name on one18th.com
