Would like to buy a Mini-T and i would like to upgrade it for racing I dont need to make it a speed demon though because the courses are fairly short tracks.
What upgrades should i invest in

The stuff that nitrodude2 recommended is basically a necessity to make the mini-T a decent car. The BL system isnt NEEDED of course, as the stock motor has enough power for some styles of driving. But the other stuff is really needed, the stock setup is barely acceptable for a hobby grade truck.

agreed if bl is too much get a reedy 19t it aleast does 30 MPH with the reedy and a 1100 mah batt but im stepping upt and getting a 1500 pack and prolly metal pinion gears etc.....

What about an RC 18T is it worth the extra 50 bucks to go that route. Or would i still have to upgrade a bunch of parts as well.

no thr rc18t is an awesome truck . i 2 wanted to go the route you were going to take but i decided to get the rc18mt and it was well worth the buy

How is Truck right out of the box. I am going to start racing minis this winter. The hobby shop Said to keep the trucks as close to stock as possible due to the smallness of the track. Just wondering if this is something i can buy to start off racing with.

stock the rc18 would be a far better choice. I own both. if you get a mini t i would get the baja version which is about 40 or so more.

another words ditch everything stock and buy upgrades... lol.. the mini-t's stock version sucks, everything about it is horrible imo..

Get the baja IMO its well worth the money, and it has a more powerfull stock motor. Bugger the mini t!! lol.

Defiantely the BAJA. It has some stuff on it like bearings, etc that comes on the mini-t pro and it comes complete with the electrics as well.
