These batteries are good : http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXMWC4&P=0 but i think you will get really short runtimes with a mamba with that much volts.

I hope you do not what the Mamba Max 7700 system for the RC18T, as it will not fit.. It is a 540 size motor and you need a 280 size motor (mamba makes smaller motors that you should look at, if so).

Also, The Intellect batteries your posted are top notch. Best out there IMO.

That will fit, but your first post stated a Mamba max which wouldn't fit. I personal don't like the high KV brushless motors as they are hard to control. I would get a 6800 or 5400 (just me). I have not owned a RC18T so you might want to check with somebody to see if will handle all the power from the 8000. Good luck

get the LOWER KV, it will run longer... IMHO, anyone know the speeds that you can get with out a LIPO on like a 5700???

The only reason I see to get a high KV is for a car that you will use for speed runs.. Not very fun IMO.

That system looks good.. It's your choice on what vehicle you want. I like 4wd so I would get the RC18T.
