I'm working on flipping the Arms and mounting some Mini-T shocks right now. Does anyone want a mini-guide for the shocks. I didn't find anything about them in here?

i just got done making my steering less sloppy. I just cut a piece of my old shock springs and put it around it. It is tighter now, steers way better. Great modification.

Is there a difference in performance between the RC18T and the RC18B? I have both stock and for some reason my Buggy seems sooooo much faster.

maybe your motor is going out. It happens. But the only difference is a wing, tires/rims, and a body. And some shock towers but it shouldnt be all that much faster.

have you checked the spur and pinion mesh? That might be it. But when I had my stock motor me and my friend would put wd-40 in them and it worked pretty good. Otherwise reset your diffs.

So i guess the best diff setup would be this:
MIP super diffs
[link]http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKBC2&P=ML[/link]
steel diff gears
[link]http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=9388[/link]
carbide diff balls
[link]http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJHS3&P=7[/link]

and to make it all great some cvd's which would help some
[link]http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJHW7&P=7[/link]

Is this what everyone uses? it seems like that setup would be strong. I will need it on 3s

I got the Mini-T shocks mounted all I had to do was take off the bottom piece and replace it with the RC18 style one. The front is the perfect length but the rear is way to long. I'm going to use some of the supplied spacers to limit the traval.

you will need double of all that stuff lol. 2 mip super diffs is already 30 and 14 for the balls, and another 40 for the cvd's and you have yourself a nice big list lol. And then another 26 for steel gears oh god lol.

The lipo is 58 shipped to my house. thats with deans and align balancing plugs. Also its the 1550 maxamps one.

step pins have more grip. I have used both and the step pins are the best dirt tire.

Frozen, so to get them to fit all you had to do was change the ballcup on the bottom of the shock? do the 18t ones fit good on the shaft?
