New rc18t owner
I got a used one just a few days ago. I put brushless on it tonight, now I noticed that my range isnt very great, maybe 75 feet, all my batteries are good. Now I DID notice that about 4" of the end of the antennea wire has been ripped off... will this hurt it this bad? I run all my other stuff on spektrum but I dont have the cash right now to get another spektrum receiver.

Way to help a guy out annie .....
4 inches would probably hurt reception , but I doubt that much .
Check the wire for any kinks , look at it where it comes out of the receiver box and make sure its not pinched . There might be a break in the RX antenna closer too the receiver .....

Ive been in rc for years, Ive lost bits of receiver wires before, but it has never affected range this bad before, Im going to solder on a whole new wire today.
