Default Building "The Scorcher"

I visited Fritzke's excellent site, and, as I've been a Ken Willard fan since the 60's,started putting a Scorcher together. It's going together really well and should be flying shortly.Scorcher seems to be the only 049 plan on the site.I love the Roaring 20,but don't have an 020 at present.Does anyone out there have August 1961 MAN in their stash of old magazines? It's a bloody long time ago,I was 13 years old then, which, makes me a bit ancient. That issue had K.W.'s article and plan for the Scorcher.I'd love to see his building and trimming tips.If there's a copy around I'd be very grateful to get an email of that article. Stay tuned for flight test results.Happy landings....Vauxhall

Default RE: Building "The Scorcher"

Did you ever notice 1961 turned upside down is still 1961. I was 12 yrs old then and more interested in my motor scooter than planes.
Why not make the Roaring 20 larger for an .049? thats what I did with the Littlest Stick and it really hauls with a black widow.
