I HVAE A HITEC FOCUS 4 WITH A BAD CRYSTAL I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I HAVE TWO AND WHEN I SWAP CRYSTALS THE RADIO WORKS GOOD .WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS IF ANY HITEC CRYSTAL WORK.IN THE SAME FREQENCY AS THE ONES CAME OUT OF IT

If you're asking if a bad crystal can be replaced with a good one by the same manufacturer, on the same freq. without retuning the Rx., the answer would be yes. I change crystals around often and have had no problems at all. I change freq.'s as well but I try not to change more than 2 "steps" up or down.

Hitec sells two different receiver crystals, a single conversion and a dual conversion. If it is the original receiver that came when purchased it is dual conversion. Make sure you get the one for the dual conversion receiver other wise you will be sending it back for a return, is should have a blue band on it.
