Default Johnson "Bulldog" .09 engines

Johnson (Dynamic Models) was famous for .29, .32 and .35 stunt & combat engines but they also built these "Bulldog" .09 engines in 1963. They were offered in both standard and R/C forms. Very chunky (heavy) for their displacement.

Default RE: Johnson "Bulldog" .09 engines

The story I heard was that there was some thought that FAI classes, mostly 2.5cc would go to 1.5cc. So far, as I know the only USA "09" engines which were actually 1.5cc were the Cox TD 09 (and Medallion 09) and the Bulldog. The rest were slightly larger than 1.5cc.
