Default HELP please? (Tri-Star)

I have a freind that gave me a Sig tri-star. He did not know how to build the plane. I finished it and have an OS 25 LA in it. I just need to know where the CG point is. I have looked every where.

Any help is very greatful.

Thanks
Larry

Hi FREEBIRD! You can't go wrong with 20-25% of the wing chord [counting ailerons] . For example, if the wing chord is 10 ", then it should balance 2 to 2 1/2" from the leading edge. If you set the elevator travel for 1/4" up, and 1/4" down, you should have enough pitch control to fly it.

My Sig Tri-Star is balanced at 4.25 inches aft of where the leading edge of the main wing meets the fuselage and it flies great.
