If this was 2 years ago, and I could just go to the LHS & get Norvel074 by the handfull....

I'm looking at that B24 in the Sept Model Aviation magazine, 4 Norvie 074 would do it up nice....
But I have Surestarts & AP061 and gonna need to ponder it some.

Pizza box flyer but with an airfoil to add some stiffness and a degree of aerodynamics so it doesn't want to tuck and tie it's shoe laces all the time.

Yes CP, you poisoned me with that one of yours this summer...

Yes, make a PBF from balsa sticks........you won't be out anything for time and materials, and you will get rewarded with lots of fun. Just keep moving those sticks. For the record, that PBF I brought up to the fly in has never crashed, but has almost crashed thousands of times.

It appears that I've been typecast! Oh well, I don't want to disappoint you so hare are 3 bipes that I drew up for .074s. The first is the Bipe Stik, which you've already seen. The next is the Cloud Buster, which you've probably seen as well. The third is a Beercat that I drew up for Wild Fred (Remember him?), but has never been built.

I really like the Beercat. For one it has a built up airfoiled stab. That worth 100 bonus points. Now, that main airfoil is interesting. I didn't think laminar flow technology worked on small wings. Maybe a carefully glassed one with many coats of hand polished dope to make a super slick surface. Are you going to make the plans available?

The plans are basically a scaled down version of Hal DeBolt's .40 size Beercat. I was going to go with something like an NACA 0015, but I kept the original airfoils as per Hal and Wild Fred's suggestions. I've been meaning to put all my plans up on my website, but I just haven't got around to it.

Back to suggestions for an .074. How about a SIG Rascal or a Goldberg Junior Falcon (plans are available on Dave Fritzke's website http://my.pclink.com/~dfritzke/ ).
