Default RC 020

Gidday Again....

I have just purchased an RC 020. I thought it may have some instructions about how to operate the throttle control but it does not.

How does that little throttle control around the head work?

Put a Z- bend in a piece of wire that fits in the holes in the 'C' clip and move it around opening and shuting off the exaust slots.

It DOES run with the slits fully covered,,that is your idle,,and it is probably open less than 1/3 way when it goes to full throttle....very short throw from idle to full throttle...Rog

I've seen a range of 7-8000 rpm on the low end to 16-18000 rpm on the top with mine....that's with the stock prop.

Is it a TD or Pee Wee? An old Cox #281 Piston / Cylinder that was ground to presision comes down lower than a non ground unit and of couse the top end depends on other factors.
