My, what a nice looking Wattage Giles G-202 we have here...
I say... that doesn't look like part of an electric motor under there!
Is that what I think it is?!?!
Oh dear lord, please make it go away!
Flight report/ crash test results to follow, pending arrival of reciever.

I love Giles and I love little 4 strokes, don't make much more noise than a geared electric. What is that engine? What servos you using? I bet you could find a battery that weighs LOTS less than that. 4cell Nimh 370 mah will run little servos great for multipal flights and weighs 1oz.

Nice job!... I have one but havn't flown it in a while. I have an AP .09 and an APC 7x4 Prop. It flys OK but definitely needs more power and bigger prop. .09 can't handle it. Yours should be a blast with the 4S. The plane is real snappy and lands HOT. The pin-striping come off easily( not intended for fuel residue ) so make sure you glue them down good. I used the aforementioned 370ma battery and mini servos. Even with everything back as far a possible I still had to add 4oz to the tail for balance. The AUW is still less than the recommended electric set up.
Keep us posted on how yours flys!

It's an OS FS-26, and I have HS65 servos in there. I have a 4 oz. tank, but may try a 2 oz. tank if it turns out to be too heavy with a full load of fuel (or just not fill the tank up all the way). As for the battery... I could use a smaller one, but it's what I have, and it helps balance out the plane. I'll still need tail weight, but nowhere near the 4 oz. like mentioned above.
I'm not taking this whole thing too seriously, so spending money on a small battery pack doesn't interest me a whole lot.
