Default Carolina 1/2a Crew VIDEO!.. finally

Well, it took a week but I finally got the video of Saturday, 30 Sept made. First of all if I missed anyone, I’m sorry, but I hope you enjoy it. The full video is about 16 minutes long and over 200 MB so I had to splice the video into 3 parts and compress the quality to get it posted on YouTube with there 100 MB/10 min limits per video. As I mentioned before I will be happy to provide a CD with the uncompressed, un-split version to those who would like it. Please just PM me with a name and mailing address to send it to and I will get those out soon. The CD will be a WMV file that plays in most PC’s on Windows Media Player 9. If you require a different format please let me know and I will see if I can create it in that format. I will also see if I can create a DVD to play on your regular TV so let me know if you would prefer that to the WMV file and if I can get it to work I will send that to you instead (I am new at this). Follow the links below to the segmented version. This is just my way of saying thanks to all of you for the invite and a great Saturday.

The third video apears to still be "processing" if it gives me an error like I exceeded my storage limit I can clear one of my older videos to make room for it. Thanks for the Pos feedback guys, my fragile ego needs it

Those are great Phil! Thanks for putting all that together. You really had the music synced perfectly. I can't believe it's already been a whole week since we were there.

For the rest of us, thanks for sharing the get together thru your videos -- looks like you all had a super time. It's always nice to put posters and faces together.

Loved the music, too.

Cool! I was about to write "who were those masked men" then I got to the last still shot in vid 3..

Alrighty then - what happened to the twin .010 Jr. Skylark???[] I was all tickled to see at the start of vid 2, but alas, no flight footage!

The left motor never did run well enough to fly. Probably some dirt. I was looking forward to seeing it in the air myself.

That's BobHH's airplane. I was hoping to see it fly too, but between the rising wind level and the left engine not
staying lit, discretion was determined the better part of valor. I have some video footage (digicam quality) of the
engines running that I am forwarding to Mr67Stang; cantankerous little beasts, but awfully sweet when they were
both singing together...

I have owned and still do a few .010's and always loved them. But, one thing I have never done is run two at once.. I can only imagine the sound, esp. if they are at just a hair different rpm! Been a while since I flew one but have a Page Boy in the works and have a 1/8A Starduster free flight ready for test flights.

Well, it appears the left engine was new and still brealing in so I swapped it out for another from the shelf. Both scream quite well now but to date I have not had the time to give her a go! Maybe this weekend if the weather holds. I will see if i can get some video.

I promise to hang a little longer next time to make more of the highlights.

Dude my wife loved the vids. It proved to her how much fun I have at these events. She was quite impressed by how many of the crew showed up and the quality of birds there (especially yours TJ).
She also was surprised at how old my evil illigitamate twin step father by another mother really is.[sm=50_50.gif](Patrick, in an ugly way you are somehow included in this).

So other than Raymond's "group build" are there any new build options for me to glue togeather for the next game? Or am I pre-destined to a DNU ala` Vicman? RD, are you out there for me? I need a B/A racer that is ok to build.
