Default ace upstart kit

Just out of curiosity, what would an ace "upstart" kit be worth these days? I'll have to go back and check if it's a I or II version, but a local "flea market" place has one for 25 bucks.. sound about right? I thought it might be fun..

The kit should be on par with the current Simple Series planes which average around $45.00. I would think $25 is a decent buy.

Thanks.. I've asked my wife to pick it up if she happens to go there today. It's her day off, and I won't be surprised if she makes a trip, you never know what you're going to find at this place!

Many moons ago I flew some 1/2A pylon, scratch built planes - including an old "hornet". With 500 MAH nicads and Ace "Bantam Midget" servos, even! I'll bet with modern small servos and lighter batteries, this will be fun..

I've got a big mig .061, think it might be about right for this.

She did.. but she also found an antique china cabinet and rocking chair both that she wanted.. so it's going to cost a lot more than 25 bucks!

She brought the plane home, now I have to figure out how to haul home the cabinet and chair...

Well, got the kit - AND the china cabinet and rocking chair.. LOL

The kit appears to be complete - all of the small parts are still sealed in plastic bags, even! Now I'll have to finish setting up a building table in the basement, I guess. This ought to be fun..

That should be no problem... just sit the rocking chair in front of the China cabinet abd get started before she gets her dishes in it!

I had one with a TD.051 about 30 years ago. It had a Cannon "brick" radio in it. It was Fun! With the new stuff out there, it should be a blast to fly.
