probably MICROFLIGHT'S patented PET (Proportional Excrement Timer) powered FULL-HOUSE micro pattern plane with an idle so low it sits still (NO forward movement!) on the runway and taks in the range of 50,000 RPM at full throttle!

that would be a cox .010 with the PET on it and the top rpm is in the 30,000 range

Well, I would suspect Steve Adams AKA Skaliwag’s Cox .010 throttle. It is a throttle sleeve design and mine works OK. Bear in mind you need to put it on a model and keep a close eye on the weight. So check out his site at www.selecthobbies.com. BTW, here is my little Christy Bipe that I have used the throttle on.

Here's my NanoBipe from a while back. TeeDee .010, 7 5/8" span, under 5 oz. The pics don't show it with a throttle but I did install another servo and one of Steve's throttle sleeves later on The throttle worked great...can't say much about the plane. It was a handful, no matter how fast the engine was running![X(]

Diesels can be built much smaller than glows since there is no glow plug. This one is .006 CI. and I have seen them half this size. Throttle might be possible but the smaller it gets the harder it is to do...

Chevy, that must be one helluva powerhouse for you to need those bridge bolts to hold that puppy down. And where'd you get the 5 gallon beer bottle.....

I second the statement to buy from Steve at www.selecthobbies.com. He's great to order from and quick shipping. I've ordered from him several times and no problems at all. Terry

Bob,

That's the beauty of small lightweight airframes - you only need two bolts to hold the motor on with

Hey Darren, I got one of those, gave it to Raindave to build for me,,, I opened it up when I got it and freaked cause there's like 100 parts to that tiny ***** plane!! got an .010 but not throttled...I hear Skaliwags stuff is top notch , but I have too many pans in the fire as it is, may actually go the brushless route when ever we get around to it.......Rog

Hello Rog,

It looks like alot of parts but is one of the easier planes I've put together. I think completed all the structues while watching a football game, it went together real easy. The short tail moment makes for a flitty little flyer. Small control surface travel and expo if you have it help alot.
