Yes the cap should work.. On the K button i don't think the airsoft gun will work off it as the action of the K button is a fast bleep of electric then it stops where as pushing up on the stick is consistant electric so it can fully turn the guns motor at any time to shoot. with the K button it would give a little pulse and move the motor in the gun only a hair making it not shoot.
