Default RE: Larger Classic Pattern Plane

ORIGINAL: JeffH

I had a Prophecy, great plane, but I felt that the Sequel flew better. It was much easier to get it to break into the spin easier than the Prophecy. The P would float right past center if you weren't careful. The sequel was the BEST landing plane I have ever flown. Set the AoA, and control the slope with throttle and it would land like a butterfly with sore feet on the center mark every single time.
Chip Hyde agreed with me about the Sequel flying just a touch better than the P.
I flew a Dr. Jekyl, Sequel, and Prophecy. The Dr.J had a bit more wing loading I felt, but it flew great. I Miss the sequel...[] I still have my YS 1.20 that I had in it.
Jeff..

Thanks for the info...

If you want have a look at this website and take a look at "The One"

Now...if I'm not mistaken, I thought I remember reading this airplane was the Sequel (re-named of course)...I may be remembering wrong...It's one of that lineage ie: Jekyl, Dr. Jekyl or Sequel...I'm really thinking it's the Sequel though...I want one and have never forgot the website..I just got too much stuff already...

I don't know these guys but I'm pretty sure they are the same folks I got my Prophecy kit from several years ago (Lamar and Jerry)... If I'm not mistaken they use to be called Dixie Competition Products which is who I got the Prophecy kit from. It's a nice kit...

You might wanna give them a call and get the "scoop" so maybe you could build another Sequel....

Sorry in advance if I got it wrong and it's not the Sequel...But I think it is...

Chuck

P.S. Relying on my memory isn't very reliable...
