Mine balanced per the plans without needing addition weight on a trike landing gear. I don't understand why the need for a pound of weight to balance it, unless it is a taildragger. Also, did you balance it side to side? I had to add a 1/4 ounce to the starboard wing tip.

I just completed repairs and with finish covering the repairs next week.
